About Us

I’m Sean, and along with my wife Becky, we run Hartwell Dog Boarding & Day Care, a 5-star licenced boarding company in our wonderful little village of Hartwell. We have been fortunate to run this since November 2022, and during that time we have had the absolute pleasure to care for over 76 different dogs from all across the UK – some for as long as a month, others for as little as a day.

While that number may not seen very high, when you take into account that we only have one family of dogs at our home at a time (we don’t mix dogs) it’s easy to see that we are very busy and are often back to back with bookings year long.

Due to this we have a lot of experience when it comes to walking and exercising dogs of all shapes and sizes, and of all temperaments.

Currently, Sean holds a Level 3 OFQUAL in Canine Care, Behaviour and Welfare as well as completing First Aid courses.

On top of this he is also studying for the Level 4 Certificate in Professional Pet Sitting, Dog Walking, Dog Day Care and Home Boarding – and also the Level 3 Award in Animal Licensing Inspector.

We are also insured to cover both Dog Boarding and Dog Walking with Pet Plan Sanctuary.
